Café Zona Sur

Jose and Maria wanted to open a place they'd want to go to in their neighborhood of Sunset Park.

For years, they worked in all kinds of restaurants, 4-stars, 2-stars, no Stars, brunch, lunch, dinner; from Manhattan to Los Angeles making and serving delicious food. 

They want Café Zona Sur to represent their journey with food. The Menu is fresh, simple and local. It's New American and indicative of the kitchens they've worked in for twenty years and the cultures that have traveled here to the Great NYC and helped revolutionize the comfort meal.

At Café Zona Sur, the espresso is just as important as the wine and beer, and the menu is filled with dishes that represent their journey as foodies.

Excited to be in Brooklyn, they also support local bakers and artisans and serve local and natural whenever possible as well as Fair Trade Espresso Coffee and Teas.

This is their first venture in their neighborhood of Sunset Park and look forward to many more.
